This year was a blast! Made lots of friends and also traveled many places. This 2014, I planned to do more, but also I plan to save money :D
Last Dec 1, 2013, I, together with my officemates joined a fun run sponsored by Nike. It was not my first fun run, but it was my first 10k run. I was afraid that I wont be able to finished it, but thanks to my running buddies who push the hell out of me to run and finish the race. I was like if I saw McDonalds I swear I will order coke float and big mac but unfortunately Mcdo didnt come closer to me.
The race was held at Marikina Sport Center, but we decided to eat at Katipunan and went to Metrowalk to spare time, and then went home. It was a great day after all and I promise to join it next year. Till then :)
Its not everyday that we get to visit and travel the place you live or maybe not?haha. Anyways, we had a whole day to waste so we have decided to visit Quezon City.
Look how busy our table!
First.
Our meeting place, Buko Juan, Centris Station.
We also had free buko shake c/o the owner himself Wins!
Second.
Stronghand Shooting Range.
Just we just pratice target shooting. Badass overload.
Third.
We went to SM North Edsa, to buy boxing gloves, but sadly we didnt get to buy one, though we enjoy Jamba Juice's photoboot. We even sent a copy of our picture to our team's pdl lol.
Fourth.
Pino Resto Bar at UP Village.
A must try restaurant and all their foods are oh so delicious! But for me, their Crispy Kare Kare won my heart.

One of highlights of our mini getaway is our food trip adventure. As being a fan of vintage stuff, finding a restaurant with vintage vibe is really interesting. During our stay in Ilocos, we've search for the best food/restaurant to eat, and a must place to visit is Macy's Diner. Together with its 50's vibe and USA theme, were really impress, specially me, cause I wanna live and be in LA.
They have tons of meals to choose from and anything from their burger to fries, rice and drinks, every penny you spent is happiness in your tummy.
We are so amaze at the place that we even took the picture of the whole restaurant. |
Im in LA, finally!!! at least in this picture. |

I've been really busy this past few days and I forgot to blog about Day 3 of our mini getaway. Anyways, here's Day 3 post: Laoag.
Laoag is our last stop, and the last part but the most exciting part of our trip is Sand Boarding. We stayed at Tiffany Hotel, near Macy's Diner (special post about Macy's coming up really soon) and across Tiffany's is Lead Movement. We rented a 4x4 truck and boards for our sand boarding. It was really fun and I just rolled in the sand, but it was all fun. :)

Well I dont want to share my sand boarding experience since it was really horrible lol. I just rolled in the sand. After sand boarding, we went to Vigan to buy pasalubong, and stopped at Marcia's Delicacies for more pasalubong.
Tip: Try Marcia's Supreme Bibingka (the best)
Also the brownies, and leche. Just try everything, its worth every penny :)
Day 2 of our Mini Getaway: Pagudpud
From Vigan to Pagudpud, it would take at least 4 hours to get there. Since it is our first time to visit Pagudpud, we decided to follow the landmark sign lol, and most of the sign we saw were pointing to Hannah's Resort, so we went to Hannah's Resort. We also visit Bangui Windmill, Bantay Abot Cave, and Patapat Viaduct. Then we went straight to Laoag to stay during the night, and prepare ourselves for Sand Boarding.
